Everyone loves a good, homemade vegan pizza, but the hours of prep time it takes to make it?

Not so much.

That's why this tortilla pizza is so great. By swapping out traditional dough for a tortilla, total prep and cooking time comes down to only 30 minutes- perfect for a spontaneous meal or snack.

Not only is it convenient, but this pizza is also delicious. It maintains all the flavor of a traditional pizza, while also adding in a crunch that normal dough often lacks.

Ready to try it out for yourself? Keep on reading for the recipe!

  • 1 whole grain flour tortilla
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 3/4 cup vegan parmesan cheese (I use this one by Follow Your Heart)
  • 1 small tomato
  • 5 large basil leaves

  • Preheat oven to 425ºF
  • Spread tomato sauce evenly across tortilla, leaving a 1/2 inch border on all sides
  • Arrange tomato slices and basil on tortilla and sprinkle on the cheese
  • Transfer to cooking sheet and bake in oven for 15-20 minutes until cheese is bubbly and crust is crispy
  • Enjoy!
